The House
Built approximately 1904 the house was originally called Glenamble and was a large semi detached house with adjoining servants quarters.

The Hall and Lounge:
Upon arrival after checking into your room, we will be pleased to serve you complimentary tea or coffee with biscuits or home made cake. While relaxing by our cosy wood burning stove you may wish to browse through our "Where to Eat Guide in Ambleside", which contains a collection of sample menus from the many bistros and restaurants. The Dining Room:
Breakfast is served from 8:30 until 9:00 in our bright and airy
dining room which overlooks the garden. Start the day with a light,
full or vegetarian breakfast which is freshly cooked to order. Whenever
possible we use local produce. Please advise us, when you book, of any
special dietary requirements.

The Bedrooms
Red Bank's three bedrooms (2 double and 1 twin/super king double)
have fully appointed en-suite bathrooms with LCD colour television,
clock/radio, hospitality tray, hair dryer, mineral water, dressing gown
and many little extras provided for your comfort. All the rooms are
double glazed and bedroom temperature is controlled by your radiator
thermostat. Every care has been taken in individually designing and
furnishing each room in a comfortable style in keeping with our 5 STAR
& Silver Accolade Award
